OUR STORY
Dr. William Raskin and his team founded Concept Health with a singular mission: to provide Canadians with access to the most advanced cancer screening tools available, combined with expert specialist review.
After recovering from a severe illness, William brings a deeply compassionate and personal approach to patient care. This experience shaped his vision to make cutting-edge early detection accessible to everyone, not just those who qualify under current screening guidelines.

OUR MISSION
THE PROBLEM WITH CURRENT SCREENING
Despite current healthcare guidelines, 2 in 5 Canadians are expected to develop cancer in their lifetime. 1 in 4 Canadians are expected to die of cancer. Current screening protocols, while helpful, have significant limitations:

William Raskin, MD

Dr. William Raskin is a medical oncologist specializing in breast, gastrointestinal and neuroendocrine cancers. He is an expert in precision diagnostics and passionate about advancing cancer care for patients and families.
As an investigator for biomarker-driven clinical trials with multiple publications examining the role of genomic sequencing in cancer care, William brings cutting-edge expertise to early cancer detection.
After recovering from a severe illness in the past, William brings a compassionate and personal approach to the care of his patients, understanding firsthand the importance of early detection and expert guidance.
Andrew Shuen, MD, PhD
Medical Geneticist & Longevity Specialist
FRCPC, FACMG
Dr. Andrew Shuen is a leading expert in medical genetics and cancer prevention, with over a decade of clinical experience in high-risk cancer screening and prevention. He is board-certified in genetics in both Canada and the United States.
Dr. Shuen currently serves as the Cancer Geneticist at the Cancer Prevention Centre at the Jewish General Hospital. He earned his medical degree from the University of Ottawa, completed his medical genetics residency training at McGill University, and later earned his PhD in molecular genetics at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
